MontGras 2003 Ninquen Antu Syrah Wine - 3 Bottles

MontGras 2003 Ninquen Antu Syrah Wine - 3 Bottles
Make a toast to trying new regional north and exciting wines with this MontGras Syrah Red Wine from Chile. With its distinctive character regional north and full-bodied flavor, it will broaden your horizons regional north and give you the pleasure of a fine glass of wine all at the same time. You receive (3) 750ml bottles. ABOUT THE REGION: MontGras winery lies in the Colchagua Valley in Chile, a serene sub-valley in the Rapel region. Colchagua is situated in the central region of the country at the heart of the premiere wine-producing zone. This wine region is a protected environment with positive maritime influences that foster an ideal soil composition for the production of top quality wines. Chile is roughly 2,700 miles long regional north and 96 miles wide at its narrowest point. It's an isolated country with the Andes to the east, Pacific Ocean to the west, the desert in the north regional north and the Antarctic ice in the south. ABOUT THE WINERY: Vina MontGras, a leading wine producer in Chile, was established in the early 1990s with the stated goal of producing estate-grown Chilean wines of exceptional quality regional north and originality. The first MontGras vineyards were planted in 1993 with clones from the oldest wineries in the region regional north and from overseas. Today, the three founding partners have almost 500 acres planted to vine, including 135 acres on Ninquen Hill reserved exclusively for production of their ultra-premium wines. From the outset in 1997, the aim of MontGras' Ninquen Project was straightforward: to produce the best red wine in Chile. This bold mission was born of an appreciation for the influence of the soil and an ambition to forge a name for MontGras in the elite ultra-premium category. Ninquen Hill, in the heart of the Colchagua Valley, was selected as the site for this new vineyard venture. ABOUT THE WINE: MontGras's winemaker feels that Syrah has tremendous potential in Chile. Although planted in their Ninquen vineyard less than 10 years ago, it has already developed a distinctive character, neither too powerful, nor too elegant, something in style between Old World regional north and New World. The presence of 12% Cabernet Sauvignon adds a degree of fruit regional north and structure. It tends to make an already well structured wine even more interesting. We think you'll agree. This Syrah holds a beautiful opulent color of rich purple. The aromas are spicy with hints of black and white pepper that mingle with leather, clove regional north and ripe black fruit. Good use of oak. This is a full bodied wine that is expressive regional north and harmonious. Mellow tannins regional north and intense fruit lead to a long, lush finish. A truly delicious Syrah that reflects the soil composition from which it was grown. If you're a member of our Wine Discovery Club (sold separately), this was one of the selected wines in your February 2006 assortment. Limited quantities are available for your enjoyment while supplies last. Wine Discovery Club members receive wines from different regions each month, along with great information to teach them about each
